If you answered right, you need a right handed operator.
If you answered left, you need a left handed operator.

 *Double Hung window sashes, select Top or Bottom.
Before measuring double-hungs, make certain your top and
bottom sash are equal. Windows which have a shorter sash
on top and a taller sash on the bottom are cottage style.
